For the first time in Emmys, Netflix has led all platforms with 112 nominations, topping the HBO and breaking their 18 years of long-lasting run. The top 5 shows with the most nominations are:
'Game of Thrones' with 22 nominations. 'Saturday Night Live' was close behind, tied at 21 with 'Westworld.' 'The Handmaid’s Tale' took the fourth position with 20 nominations and the last but not least 'The Assassination Of Gianni Versace' grabbed 18 nominations in this year's Emmy Awards.
The 70th annual Primetime Emmys are set to air on NBC for the first time since 2014 on Monday, Sept. 17, from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost and Michael Che are set to host.
