According to Forbes, the combined wealth of the world’s top 100 tech billionaires totals more than $1 trillion. The two countries with the most tech billionaires were the U.S. and China, with 38% and 26% respectively.
Bill Gates, the richest person in the world for 18 of the past 24 years, drops to number two on the list this year. Jeff Bezos first overtook Gates as the richest man the world in October, when his net worth reached $93.8 million. It's worth noting that Gates has donated a huge chunk of his fortune to charity.
